Homemade Gluten Free Churros

Course Dessert


  • 1 Cup Gluten free 1-1 flour (if you use almond flour add an extra cup)
  • 1/2 cup dairy free greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Sugar Coating

  • coconut sugar
  • cinnamon

For Dipping

  • melted chocolate


  1. preheat oven 350F and line baking sheet with parchment paper. mix together all ingredients except for coconut sugar and cinnamon. roll into strips – whatever length you want works – and light pull fork across to make a churro-like indentation. OR you can use a frosting tube! lay them on baking sheet and pop into the oven for 15 minutes. once done remove and brush with coconut oil then roll in sugar/cinnamon mixture.
