Gluten Free Maple Glazed Donuts w/ Vegan option

Ingredients

Donuts

  • 1 Organic cage free egg If vegan sub 1 flax egg: 1 tbsp flaxseed meal + 3 tbsp water let sit 10 minutes in fridge until thick
  • 1 Cup Gluten free flour
  • 1 Tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 Cup Coconut sugar
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/2 Cup Unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 Tbsp Coconut oil, melted
  • Dash Vanilla extract

Glaze

  • 1/2 Cup Confectioners sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven 375F – grease donut pan

  2. Mix all donut ingredients together then pipe into pan pockets

  3. Bake for 10 minutes

  4. While waiting for donuts to rise make your glaze

  5. Remove donuts from oven – let cool on rack

  6. Once cooled off dip into donut glaze – enjoy!
