Portobello Balsamic Dish

  • 2 Large Portobello mushrooms
  • 1 Large Tomato
  • Mozzarella cheese slices
  • Sea salt
  • Black pepper
  • Everything but the bagel seasoning
  • Fresh basil
  • Balsamic glaze


  1. Preheat oven 400F

  2. Lightly de-feather the inside of the portobello mushrooms – drizzle with avocado oil and sprinkle sea salt/black pepper 

  3. Place a thick slice of tomato on the inside of the portobello- again drizzle with avocado oil and sea salt/black pepper

  4. Place in oven for 10-15 minutes depending on how you like it cooked through 

  5. Once removed from oven you can eat as is and add everything but the bagel seasoning, basil, and balsamic glaze or you can place a thick slice of mozzarella cheese on top and broil until melted
