
Vegan Pumpkin Donuts
Ingredients
DRY
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp allspice
WET
- 1/3 cup organic maple syrup
- 1/3 cup organic pumpkin puree
- 1/3 cup almond milk or any dairy-free milk
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
TOPPING
- 4 tbsp grass-fed butter
- pure cane sugar
- pumpkin pie spice
- cinnamon
Instructions

Preheat oven 350F - grease your donut pan and set aside.

Combine all dry ingredients in one bowl and all wet ingredients in another - bring both together until fully combined. I poured my batter into the blender quick to make sure it was nice and smooth.

Spoon batter into donut pan - 3/4 full.

Bake for 8-10 minutes, then remove from pan -place on cooling rack.

While waiting for your donuts to cool melt your 4 tbsp of butter over medium heat - pour into a bowl once melted.

Mix your sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon together and pour onto plate.

Take one donut at a time and dip face down into the butter then face down in the sugar - enjoy!
