We went into this camper renovation process very quickly. We had some money saved up because our wedding was rescheduled and we were struggling to find a home we loved on the market so we saw an opportunity and went for it. We planned to hit the road for our mini honeymoon, fully renovated, by July 5th. We dedicated the entire month of June to working hard on this beauty and we‘re so happy with how she turned out. We invested a lot of time and money but it was so worth it. Here’s the break down!
Tools/Materials: about $1,400
Appliances/Fixtures: about $600
Decoration/Miscellaneous: about $300
Total: about $2,400
It’s important to keep in mind that we got the camper for an incredible price and in goot shape, we have tons of tools and material already on hand, and I took advantage of everything I could refurbish. We definitely expected to spend more, but quickly realized how easy it can be to save in some areas. Something like a full on van-build will have a completely different price tag than a camper reno, it just depends on what you want and what your spending limit is. There are so many fun and unique ways to make a tiny space your own whether it be from scratch or just fixing up a few things!
